The five key areas of focus are:
1. Childcare/Activities for Young People
Access to year round, 8am-6pm childcare including activities for young people, either on the school site, or at a nearby provider, with supervised transfer arrangements if required, eg Denefield Day Nursery, Goosebumps Holiday Care and After School Club at Denefield, Fun Time at Westwood Farm Infants and Blast Off at Brookfields Special School.

Other Sources of Childcare and Local Activities Information
The Family Information Service can provide a great deal of useful information for parents with children from birth up to 19 years old. Whether you are new to the area and need help finding suitable childcare or childminders and leisure activities, or whether you have a query about support for children with special needs, they will be able to help you. They will also offer advice on tax credits - more people qualify for this benefit than families realise!
The Family Information Service can be contacted on FREEPHONE number 0800 328 9148. Give them a ring - their free service should prove to be invaluable!
Their website contains some useful information, but it is best to ring as not all their contacts and activities are available online at http://www.childrensinfo.org/
